The H12X500UBT is a six-zone receiver built for buildings, not just living rooms. It powers up to 12 speakers with 6000W peak and 650W RMS with both channels driven at 1.0% THD into 8 ohms, using banana binding posts for four speakers and push button terminals for surround speakers. Six zones means a restaurant can run the dining room, patio, bar, and back office from one unit, or a house can cover the den, kitchen, deck, and garage without a separate amplifier per area. Sources include two RCA pairs, USB, SD card, a 3.5mm MP3 input, an AM/FM digital tuner, and Bluetooth at 2.4 GHz with a 30 ft range. USB and SD media play .mp3, .wav, and .wma files with repeat and random playback. Dual 1/4" microphone inputs each get volume, echo, bass, and treble controls, which is more vocal shaping than most receivers offer and makes this a working karaoke and paging unit. Separate gain controls for the preamp and subwoofer outputs let you set low frequency level independently of the mains. Recording captures to .wav at 128 kbps and 44.11 KHz.
