MB5000STAND

The MB5000STAND is a pair of speaker stands built to match the MB5000 monitor series, and the reason to use stands at all is acoustic: getting a bookshelf speaker off a desk or console puts the tweeter closer to ear height and cuts the reflections that muddy the low mids. Each stand is constructed from solid furniture board with a bottom heavy design and a wide base, which lowers the center of gravity and reduces the chance of a tip-over taking your speakers down with it. At 26" tall they place most bookshelf monitors at seated listening height in a studio, den, or home theater. Integrated feet and sound safeguarding construction keep vibration from passing into the floor, so bass stays in the speaker instead of resonating through the room. Quad support gives each stand strength and security under load, and the platform accommodates large bookshelf speakers rather than only small satellites. All necessary mounting hardware is included, so assembly and speaker attachment happen in one sitting with no trip to a hardware store. The finish is a sleek wood-style grain chosen to match the MB5000 speakers, and it works in both classic and modern rooms without looking like studio equipment in a living space. Use them for studio monitors, home theater surrounds, hi-fi bookshelf speakers, and multimedia setups. The pair weighs 30 lb, and each stand measures 4" x 5" x 26".
