MKPF2

The MKPF2 is a pop filter on a 10" flexible gooseneck with a clamp that fits boom arms and microphone stands. Its job is straightforward and it matters more than most accessories: plosives, the burst of air from P, B, and T sounds, hit a microphone capsule as a low thump that no amount of mixing fully removes. The filter breaks up that air before it reaches the diaphragm, so vocal takes come back usable the first time. The second benefit is maintenance. A filter placed between a singer and the capsule catches the saliva and breath moisture that otherwise builds up inside a microphone, which extends the life of the mic. The 10" gooseneck gives real positioning range, letting you set the filter close for heavy plosive control or further back for a more open sound, and the flexible arm holds the position you set for repeatable takes. A swivel mount handles angle so the filter faces the source squarely no matter how the mic is oriented, and the included boom and microphone stand clamp attaches to standard stand tubing without additional hardware. Use it for vocal tracking, podcasting, voiceover, streaming, and home studio recording with condenser or dynamic microphones.
