PS9U

The PS9U is a 1U rack mount power supply that replaces the extension cords and daisy-chained power strips behind most DJ and studio racks. Nine top rated 120V three-prong sockets sit on the rear panel, each tied to one of nine front panel switches with blue illumination. That one-switch-per-outlet layout is the reason to use this over a strip: you can power up an amplifier, a lighting fixture, or a subwoofer on its own without cycling the entire rack, and the illuminated switches show at a glance what is live in a dark booth. Maximum load is 15 amps or 1800W, with a dependable 15A replaceable fuse housed on the front panel, so a blown fuse is a 30-second fix instead of a service call. A high load 4 ft power cord feeds the unit. A 5V USB charging port on the front panel keeps a phone or tablet powered through a long night. The chassis measures 19" wide, 1.5" tall, and 4.75" deep, running on 110/220V, which means it mounts in any standard rack alongside amplifiers, mixers, and effects units. Use it in mobile DJ racks, recording studios, live stage rigs, house of worship systems, and home theater equipment cabinets where organized, switchable power matters more than another power strip on the floor.
