The Technical Pro WM1201 is a two-channel UHF wireless microphone system for anyone who needs two voices amplified with no cables on the floor. The base unit mounts in a single rack space and comes with two dynamic cardioid handheld microphones, each on its own channel with an individual XLR output, plus one 1/4" mixed output for simple mixer connections.

UHF high band operation is the reason to pick this system over a VHF one. The wider spectrum available above VHF leaves more room to find a clear channel in a city, a convention hall, or any space already crowded with wireless signals. Five selectable frequency pairs, frequency stability of plus or minus 0.005%, and digital sound processing hold the signal steady, and the service area reaches 200 feet from the receiver.

The cardioid pattern picks up the voice in front of the capsule and rejects what comes from behind, which lowers feedback risk when a presenter walks in front of the mains and keeps crowd noise out of the mix in a loud room. A 40Hz-20kHz response, 100dB signal-to-noise ratio, total harmonic distortion under 0.5%, and 90dB of audio dynamic range keep speech intelligible and vocals natural.

The front panel shows LED VU meters for both channels and two digital displays with frequency information, so you can confirm both mics are live and on the right frequency before anyone speaks. At 19" x 1.75" x 9.5" the receiver fits standard racks and road cases.
