WMU72

The Technical Pro WMU72 is a plug-and-play dual wireless microphone system for setups where a rack of gear is more than the job needs. Two handheld microphones share one receiver that runs on 2.4GHz and draws power from a USB port, so a laptop, a TV, a powered speaker with a service port, or a phone charger is enough to get both mics working. The female USB port on the receiver passes the connection through, so you do not give up the port you just used.

Dual-signal 2.4GHz operation with digital sound processing keeps latency low and audio clear at up to 150 feet from the receiver. Two live mics at once matters for duets, interviews, panel Q and A, team teaching, and any event where a host and a guest both need to be heard without trading a single microphone back and forth.

Each handheld runs on a rechargeable 18650 lithium battery at 3.7V, so there is no scramble for AA cells before an event, and the dynamic cardioid pattern focuses on the voice while cutting the room noise behind it. Frequency response spans 20Hz-30kHz.

The system works with any device that has a 1/4" or 3.5mm mic input, including powered speakers, computers, DJ mixers, TVs, DVD players, and home receivers, and the included 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter covers the switch between them.

Use it for classroom instruction, group fitness, home karaoke, wedding toasts, tour guiding, auction calling, and small ceremonies. Working current sits between 45mA and 55mA with a 450mA charging current.
