VMA1240 + (4) Pairs Control 25-1

This JBL commercial audio package puts a complete 70V background music and paging system in one box: a VMA1240 240W mixer/amplifier and four pairs of Control 25-1 two-way speakers, eight speakers in total. It is sized for larger restaurants, bars, cafes, retail floors, gyms, and offices that need even music coverage across a wide room or several zones without stacking separate amps.

The VMA1240 handles every source. Its five inputs take mics, line-level gear, and RCA players, and built-in Bluetooth and USB playback let staff stream a playlist straight from a phone or USB stick. Voice-activated ducking automatically lowers the music when someone speaks into the mic, so announcements and daily specials come through clearly. Bass and treble controls on every channel, a front-panel display, and the included rack mount kit keep setup and daily adjustments simple.

Each Control 25-1 pairs a 5.25" woven-fiberglass woofer with a 0.75" PEI tweeter and a built-in multi-tap transformer, selectable at 3.7W, 7.5W, 15W, or 30W on a 70V line. With eight speakers on one line, setting each to the 15W tap totals 120W, well under the 200W total load recommended for the amplifier. IP-44 rated, weatherized enclosures and InvisiBall mounting hardware let you install them on indoor walls or covered patios, and the paintable black finish blends into almost any decor.
