VMA160 Mixer Amp + CSR-V Volume Control

The VMA160 and CSR-V bundle gives restaurants, retail stores, offices, and houses of worship the core of a complete background music and paging system, with volume control mounted right on the wall where staff can reach it. The VMA160 mixer amplifier puts out 60W into 70V or 100V distributed speaker lines, so you can run a long chain of ceiling or wall speakers across a building, and it also powers 4 or 8 ohm speakers for smaller rooms. Five inputs cover the usual commercial sources: microphones with 27VDC phantom power for condensers, balanced line gear, a stereo RCA input for a music player, and Bluetooth for streaming straight from a phone or tablet. A paging chime and priority muting automatically lower the music when someone makes an announcement, so pages come through clearly every time. Bass and treble controls with +/-14dB of range let you tune the sound to the space, and the included rack hardware fits the amp into an equipment rack.

The CSR-V wall controller finishes the setup. It connects with standard Cat 5 cable and RJ-45 connectors over runs up to 1000 feet, so the amplifier can stay in a back office or equipment closet while the volume control lives on the sales floor or in the dining room. Staff can turn the music up for a busy lunch rush or down for a quiet meeting without walking to the rack, and the black finish fits in with most commercial interiors.
