WMX1 MK2

The WMX1 MK2, powered by Wolfmix, is a standalone DMX lighting controller that runs a full light show without a computer. A 4.3" capacitive color touchscreen handles setup and patching, while 37 backlit silicone buttons and four alloy rotary encoders give hands-on control during the show.

Setup moves fast. Over 3,500 fixture profiles live on the controller itself, with 15,000+ more available through the WTOOLS app. Addressing, ordering, and grouping happen on screen, a built-in Fixture Builder covers old or obscure fixtures, and a Fixture Calibration tool limits where moving heads can point.

You get eight independent fixture groups, four of them reached with the Shift key. Three FX engines (Color, Move, and Beam) each carry eight effect types and tune per group in real time. Dedicated buttons cover Strobe, Blinder, Speed, Blackout, and Smoke, with 20 namable live edit buttons and 100 presets for recalling snapshots on cue.

Four DMX universes feed four output sockets, two 5-pin and two 3-pin, and any universe maps to any output so the unit doubles as a DMX splitter. Additional universes are available as add-ons through the WTOOLS app. A built-in microphone with auto-gain, a 3.5mm line input, Ableton Link, OS2L, and manual BPM tap keep effects timed to the music.

Inside the ABS shell sits a powder-coated steel base plate with 100mm VESA mounting and a reinforced back plate. A 220MHz ARM CPU with 8MB RAM layers complex effects across groups in real time, and the unit boots in under two seconds. Built for mobile entertainers, bars, clubs, and entertainment venues.
