XS Power 1004 16V Battery IntelliCharger with Built in Ammeter, Max 20Amps

The XS Power 1004 IntelliCharger is a 16-volt charger built for AGM and gel-cell batteries. It runs on standard 110V household power and puts out up to 20 amps, so a drained 16V battery gets back to full charge without an overnight wait.

A three-stage microprocessor manages the cycle. It applies the correct current through each stage, then settles into float so the battery holds a full charge without overcharging. The Float indicator lights up when charging is complete, so there is no guessing about when the battery is ready to go back in the vehicle.

The built-in ammeter shows the charge rate as it happens, which tells you how much current the battery is actually accepting and helps you catch a pack that is starting to fail. An integrated cooling fan moves heat away from the internals during high-amp charging, and a 10-hour auto shutdown cuts power if the charger is left connected and forgotten.

Copper-plated battery clamps are included and connect straight to the terminals.

This is the charger for 16V setups where a 12V unit is no help: competition car audio systems running 16V AGM banks, drag and circle-track cars, sound-off vehicles, and shop benches where several 16V batteries get cycled between events. Compatible with all 16V AGM and gel-cell batteries.
