XS Power 586 M6 Threaded Brass Bolts for 551 I-Bar Terminal Adapter

The 586 is a set of tall brass post adapters with M6 threads, built to work with the 551 I-Bar terminal adapter and M6 battery terminals. The extra height is what you buy them for. When a battery sits down in a tray, behind a hold-down plate, or under a cover, a short post leaves you fighting to get a ring terminal and a nut onto the threads. A taller adapter raises the landing point above the obstruction so cables come on straight and the nut torques flat. It also gives you room to stack a second ring terminal when a build needs it. Brass handles the electrical side: it carries high current well and holds its dimensions when the nut is tightened against it, so a terminal running amplifier or inverter loads stays tight instead of loosening through heat cycles.
