HB 810 II 8AD

The Zapco HB 810 II 8AD is the largest of the HB II series: a 10-channel digital signal processor with an eight-channel amplifier that mixes four Class AB channels and four Class D channels. The Class AB channels deliver 35W RMS at 4 ohms and 50W RMS at 2 ohms for tweeters and midrange, while the Class D channels deliver 100W RMS at 4 ohms and 150W RMS at 2 ohms for midbass. Bridge the Class D section and you get 2 x 300W RMS at 4 ohms for a subwoofer.

That layout covers a three-way front stage plus a subwoofer from one unit, with 10 RCA outputs left for external amplifiers if the system keeps growing. Eight high-level inputs connect to a factory radio, including systems that send signal to many speakers, and two RCA inputs plus an optical input handle aftermarket and digital sources.

Tuning runs on 31-band equalization, an I/O mixing matrix, Butterworth, Bessel and Linkwitz-Riley crossovers with slopes from 6 to 48 dB/oct, speaker assignment, time delay, level and polarity, all through PC software or the Zapco app. Bluetooth streaming and the USB Music Player function add sources, and the optional remote puts main and subwoofer volume, presets, source selection and track skipping on the dash.

At 190 x 166 x 45.5 mm, it stays compact for the output it produces, so a full active system fits under a seat or behind a rear panel in a car, truck, SUV or boat while the factory dash stays original.
