CBT 1000 + 1000E Line Array with Wireless Mic System

The JBL CBT 1000 and CBT 1000E join to form one tall line array column, and the included Audio-Technica ATW-1312/L System 10 PRO wireless kit puts a handheld and a lavalier mic in front of it, giving churches, auditoriums, lecture halls, and conference rooms a complete speech and music system in one order. The CBT 1000 houses six 6.5" LF drivers and twenty-four 1" soft dome tweeters rated at 1500W, while the CBT 1000E adds six more 6.5" drivers with a purpose-designed crossover that doubles power handling and extends pattern control. A coupler plate joins the two cabinets, and the swivel/tilt wall bracket handles aiming.

Coverage is where this column earns its spot. Constant Beamwidth Technology and asymmetrical vertical coverage send more sound toward the back of the room, so the front rows aren't blasted while the back rows strain to hear. Four Pattern Up and four Pattern Down settings give you 16 coverage combinations without outboard DSP, and the tapered horizontal waveguide widens from 100° at the top to 160° at the bottom to reach corner seats. Flip between flat music voicing and a speech mode with added midrange presence depending on the event.

On the mic side, the 2.4 GHz digital system runs outside TV bands with 24-bit/48 kHz audio, frequency, time, and space diversity, and up to 200' of range. The receivers can sit in the half-rack chassis or mount remotely up to 328' away over Ethernet cable, and a ground-lift switch helps kill hum from ground loops.
