CSMA240 Mixer Amplifier + 4 8124 Ceiling Speakers + 2 White CSR-V Controllers

This JBL Commercial package puts a complete two-zone background music and paging system into one order, sized for restaurants, cafes, bars, retail shops, and offices. At the center is the CSMA240 mixer/amplifier, with eight inputs and two 40W output channels that run 4 or 8 ohm loads or connect straight to 70V and 100V distributed lines without a separate transformer. Two pairs of 8124 4" full-range ceiling speakers cover the listening area, and two white CSR-V wall volume controllers let staff adjust each zone from the wall instead of walking back to the equipment rack.

The amplifier is built around how a business actually uses sound. Voice-activated ducking on channels 1 and 5 lowers background music automatically when someone speaks into a paging mic, and priority muting can silence every other channel for announcements. Euroblock mic/line inputs, RCA inputs, and 27V phantom power cover microphones, media players, and streaming sources, while separate bass and treble controls let you tune each zone. A sleep mode powers the unit down after about 30 minutes without signal and wakes it when audio returns.

The 8124 speakers use a 4" driver with 93 dB sensitivity and 130° conical coverage, so a modest amount of power fills a room evenly. Selectable 6W, 3W, and 1.5W taps let you balance levels across the space, and dog-ear clamps make blind-mount installation in drywall ceilings quick. The CSR-V controllers connect over Cat 5 cable with RJ45 connectors on runs up to 1000 feet, and the white finish blends in with light-colored walls and ceilings.
