CSMA280 + (4) Control 25-1 + (4) 8124 + CSR-V Black

This JBL package gives restaurants, bars, retail floors, and offices a full 70V background music and paging system with both wall and ceiling coverage in one order: a CSMA280 mixer amplifier, two pairs of Control 25-1 wall-mount speakers, two pairs of 8124 4" ceiling speakers, and a CSR-V wall volume control. The CSMA280 puts out 2 x 80W and runs 70V or 100V speaker lines directly through its built-in transformer, so long wire runs across a dining room, bar, and patio need no separate transformer.

Two output channels make zoning simple. Put the 8124 ceiling speakers over the main seating area for even overhead fill, aim the Control 25-1 wall speakers at the bar, entrance, or outdoor seating, and use the transformer taps on each speaker to set its level and keep the total load within the amp's output. Eight inputs take microphones and line sources over euroblock and RCA, with 27V phantom power for condenser paging mics. Voice-activated ducking on channels 1 and 5 lowers the music when someone speaks, and priority muting silences the other inputs for announcements.

Each Control 25-1 pairs a 5.25" woven-fiberglass woofer with a 0.75" PEI tweeter, 100° x 100° coverage, and an IP-44 rated, weather-protected enclosure for indoor and outdoor spaces. Each 8124 covers 60 Hz to 18 kHz with 93 dB sensitivity and 130° conical dispersion, and its open-back, dog-ear blind-mount design drops into a ceiling without a backcan. The CSR-V connects to the amp's RJ45 port over Cat 5 cable on runs up to 1,000 ft, so staff can adjust volume from the wall instead of walking back to the rack.
