This pair of JBL 306P MkII 6-inch powered studio monitors steps up from the 5-inch 305 series with a larger woofer and more amplifier power, giving a home or project studio a fuller, more extended sound at the near-field position. A patented Image Control Waveguide blends the woofer and tweeter output into one coherent soundstage, so mixes translate accurately whether sitting dead center or working slightly off-axis. Each monitor runs on dual integrated Class-D amplifiers delivering 112W combined, powering a long-throw 6.5 inch woofer with a Slip Stream low-frequency port and a woven-composite 1 inch tweeter for detailed highs without harshness.

Because studio acoustics vary from room to room, each monitor includes a Boundary EQ setting to tame low-end buildup when placed near a wall or desktop, plus a 3-position HF Trim switch to dial in the top end to taste.
