CSMA240 2 x 40W Amplifier + (Qty 8) Lay-In Ceiling Tile Speaker Package

This package pairs the JBL CSMA240 commercial mixer/amplifier with 8 JBL LCT 81C/T lay-in ceiling tile speakers, built for an office, classroom, or restaurant with a standard 2 foot by 2 foot suspended grid. Each LCT 81C/T lays directly into the grid in place of a ceiling tile, so there is no cutting and very little mess during installation. The CSMA240 runs eight mixer-channel inputs into two output channels at up to 40W, drives 4 ohm or 8 ohm loads directly, and steps up to 70V or 100V distributed lines through its built-in Hi-Z switch.

Inside each speaker, a 200mm dual-cone driver reaches 96 dB sensitivity, high enough that even low tap settings still produce clear speech and comfortable background music across a 100-degree coverage pattern. A low-profile depth of just 4.1" lets the speaker fit above ceilings with ductwork or other obstructions that would block a deeper enclosure, and a rotary tap switch on the side sets each speaker to 10W, 5W, or 2.5W (plus 1.3W at 70V only) without opening the unit. Two safety seismic tabs secure the speaker to the ceiling deck, and the assembly carries UL1480A and UL2043 ratings for use in plenum spaces.
