CSMA240 2 x 40W Amplifier + (Qty 6) 8" Ceiling Speaker Package

This package pairs the JBL CSMA240 commercial mixer/amplifier with 6 JBL CSS8018 8" ceiling speakers, sized for a full dining room or two-room cafe that needs even paging and background music across the whole space from one rack. The CSMA240 runs eight mixer-channel inputs into two output channels at up to 40W, drives 4 ohm or 8 ohm loads directly, and steps up to 70V or 100V distributed lines through its built-in Hi-Z switch, removing the need for a separate line transformer.

Each CSS8018 speaker carries a 200mm dual-cone driver rated at 97 dB sensitivity with a 110-degree coverage pattern, and every speaker has its own rear-panel tap so you can set it to 10W, 5W, 2.5W, or 1.3W independently of the others. That per-speaker control matters here: the CSMA240 is rated for 40W total (20W per channel), so as you split 6 speakers across the two channels you can dial each one down to stay within roughly 32W per channel instead of overdriving the amp. Bare-wire connections and a bolt-on backcan mount keep installation straightforward, and the amplifier's sleep mode and voice-activated ducking take care of the rest once the system is live.
