The FSB216 pair handles 280 W peak (140 W RMS per pair) through a separate tweeter and external passive Butterworth crossover, which lets you mount the tweeter where it images best instead of locking it to the woofer basket. The FKB116 pair handles 240 W peak (120 W RMS per pair) with its crossover built into the speaker for a simpler drop-in install. Both pairs share aluminum dome tweeters, polypropylene cones, and butyl rubber surrounds, so tone stays consistent whether the sound is coming from the front stage or the rear fill.
